Researchers and students of University of El Oued benefit from lessons on green hydrogen and presentations by professors from the University of Padova, Italy, as part of the Erasmus+ program for international exchange and cooperation, in order to activate international exchange programs and develop academic dynamism. The Vice-Director of the University of Chahid Hamlaoui, in charge of external relations, Professor Mohamed Faouad Ferhat, accompanied the academic delegation from the University of Padova, Italy, on a scientific visit to the Faculty of Technology, as part of the Erasmus+ program aimed at strengthening scientific cooperation between Algerian and European universities. They were received by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Chamsa Ali, along with a selection of professors and administrators from the faculty. The visit included an intensive scientific program that included the presentation of specialized courses for the benefit of researchers and students of the Faculty of Technology, focusing on strategic areas such as "green hydrogen" and "materials engineering", which are areas that the university considers to be of utmost importance in the energy transition process. The Italian guests also presented a detailed presentation on their experience in cooperation between European universities, highlighting the valuable opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program to support student and teacher mobility, and to develop joint research projects that contribute to improving the level of academic training and scientific research. In a competitive touch, the Italian delegation participated, along with a committee of professors from the Faculty of Technology, in evaluating the "Your thesis in 5 minutes" competition, which is aimed at doctoral students. The Italian experts expressed their great admiration for the scientific and methodological level of the students of the University of El Oued and their ability to present their research projects skillfully, expressing their full willingness to welcome these students to the University of Padova in the future to conduct their research as part of academic exchange programs. This visit once again confirms the success of the University of Chahid Hamlaoui in building solid international communication bridges, which open up global horizons for its members in the fields of research and innovation.
