Announcement of the Opening of Applications for the Algerian Visiting Fellow 2026-2027 Monday, 13 July 2026, 14:41 Sunday, 19 July 2026, 10:01 As part of the Prince Abdelkader Algerian program, the University of Algiers 2 Abu El Kacem Saadallah informs its professors and researchers about the opening of applications for the Algerian Visiting Fellow for the 2026-2027 academic year, organized by the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies. This fellowship offers the selected researcher the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary academic community at the Centre for a period that may extend to a full academic year, to complete an independent research project in one of the fields related to the study of Islam and the Islamic world, with a focus on the following specialties: Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, International Relations, Law, Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sociology, Science and Society.
