International Credit Mobility Projects (Key Action 1)
An International Credit Mobility (ICM) project is an exchange mechanism between Erasmus+ programme countries and partner countries (see Programme Guide: English version, French version). This programme allows students and higher education staff to benefit from academic mobility. Students can leave from the 2nd year of higher education for a duration of three to twelve months. As for teaching and administrative staff, mobilities vary between five days and two months.
Presentation
The management of mobilitities is ensured by the Erasmus+ national agencies in the programme member countries. Each higher education institution must conclude one or several inter-institutional agreements defining the framework for sending and receiving students and staff. These agreements set the modalities for academic and administrative cooperation between partner institutions.
Credit Mobility: How it Works
Erasmus+ programme member countries can participate in all actions, thus promoting wide academic cooperation across Europe and beyond.
