The 7th National Conference on Applied Zoology
News: The 7th National Conference on Applied Zoology, September 29-30, 2026. The Laboratory of Applied Zoology and Animal Ecophysiology (LZA) continues its commitment by organizing the 7th National Conference on Applied Zoology. This event constitutes a privileged space for exchanges and reflections, bringing together researchers, teachers, and students around various themes. It allows for an assessment of the progress of research conducted by our doctoral students and teacher-researchers, while strengthening national collaborations to develop new scientific perspectives. Zoology, at the crossroads of fundamental biology and practical applications, plays a crucial role in the face of current challenges: preservation of fragile ecosystems, sustainable management of resources, fight against pests, human and animal health in the face of emerging diseases, or the impacts of climate change. These conferences aim to explore these issues and highlight the importance of applied zoology in understanding and managing ecological dynamics. Through conferences and communications, this national meeting is also an opportunity for sharing experiences, training, and consolidating scientific networks, contributing to the vitality of research in Algeria. For this edition, the chosen mascot is the Tilapia Fish, a symbol of the development of continental aquaculture in Algeria. Registration link to participate Download the Template
