The 1st International Symposium on Diversity, Enhancement and Preservation of Plant Diversity

The First International Symposium on Diversity, Valorization and Conservation of Plant Diversity, organized by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life in collaboration with the Laboratory of Local Natural Bioresources, the Laboratory of Production and Protection of Crops in the Chlef Region, and the Forest Conservation of Chlef, aims to identify and update data related to Algerian flora in order to establish a monitoring system and improve techniques for better conservation of threatened species in the face of climate change. It also focuses on valorizing natural substances to serve the development of the national industry, particularly the pharmaceutical industry. This scientific event will allow the participation of researchers and specialists from various fields of plant diversity, enabling the addressing of major challenges related to this field in order to valorize and conserve it as a valuable natural heritage. This event will also serve as a platform for the exchange of scientific experiences and information between researchers from different national and international institutions, with the goal of developing and enhancing research results related to plant diversity, and establishing cooperation between researchers, universities, laboratories, research centers, and social and economic partners. This cooperation aims to enhance the development of this field, in addition to guiding and supporting the work of doctoral students.
